We’re supporting a major consultancy delivering clean water operational services across the South East. This role suits an experienced operational leader who enjoys managing people, performance and programme delivery in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment.
The Role
You will oversee daily delivery across leak detection, data collection and customer‑side leakage (CSL) programmes. Working across multiple sites, you will lead field teams, coordinate resources and ensure all workstreams meet safety, quality and KPI expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate field‑based teams across multiple locations
* Manage daily operations, workforce planning and resource allocation
* Drive productivity and performance across leak detection, data and CSL workstreams
* Maintain accurate operational data and support reporting requirements
* Oversee fleet utilisation, compliance and cost control
* Deliver toolbox talks, site briefings and safe systems of work
* Liaise with client representatives and provide clear performance updates
What You’ll Bring
* Experience managing field‑based operational teams
* Strong commercial awareness and KPI‑driven mindset
* Understanding of leak detection, data logging or CSL (desirable)
* Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* NRSWA / Streetworks Supervisor
* Prince2 / PM2
* Experience within UK water utility frameworks
Working Pattern
* Full‑time, Monday–Friday (40 hours)
* Field‑based across Kent, Sussex and Basingstoke
* Regular travel to operational sites
