Support Cambridgeshire is recruiting a Development Officer.
This exciting and varied role will support our close-knit team with the delivery of the charity's core work.
This role will be one of the key delivery roles within Support Cambridgeshire. They will work closely with colleagues, especially within the Development Team and initially with training and support, will be expected to advise groups on aspects of running a community organisation or small charity as well as deliver training and networks.
With support, this role will hold a focus on understanding and supporting organisations delivering work in Huntingdonshire but there is an expectation that development work across the whole county will be shared across the team so you will not be working exclusively in this area.
The post holder will also be involved in helping to build and maintain the Support Cambridgeshire bank of good practice guides and tools to help organisations.
We are not necessarily looking for an experienced Development Officer. We are looking for someone who cares about the voluntary sector and supporting people and who is conscientious, passionate, positive and ready to learn.
We work using a combination of face to face and online. All staff will be expected to work in the best way to ensure an efficient and flexible service that meets the needs of those we work with.
We are looking for someone who will thrive in a changing environment and will be willing to 'muck in' to ensure we are delivering a responsive service.
