Assistant Technical Coordinator - Residential
Location: Hertfordshire & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Package
Industry: Residential Construction (New Build - Low-Rise & High-Rise Apartments)
Role
We are currently seeking an Assistant Technical Coordinator to join a reputable residential contractor working on a variety of new build apartment schemes (low-rise and high-rise) across St Neots, which you will be required to visit once a week and three days a week to the head office based in Hertfordshire.
You will report into a Senior Technical Coordinator and play a key role in managing and coordinating the design and technical elements across multiple residential projects.
Responsibilities
* Assisting in the management and coordination of external consultants and design teams
* Supporting the review and development of architectural, structural, and M&E designs
* Helping to manage technical approvals, planning conditions, and building regulations compliance
* Liaising with internal departments including Planning, Commercial, and Construction teams
* Ensuring accurate technical information is issued to site teams on time
* Contributing to value engineering processes and design solutions
Requirements
* Experience in a similar Assistant Technical Coordinator or Technical Administrator role within residential construction
* A strong understanding of the technical stages of residential developments
* Familiarity with current Building Regulations, NHBC standards, and planning requirements
* A degree or HNC/HND in a construction-related field is desirable but not essential
