Personal Assistants play a vital role within Enable, making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same, but your role will involve supporting individuals with learning disabilities to achieve their goals and outcomes.
Each person we support has unique needs; your responsibilities may include personal care, moving and handling, positive behavioural support, and expanding social networks.
Enable creates a bespoke team around each individual, working collaboratively to ensure safety, wellbeing, and aspirations are met.

You will work as part of a team supporting residents in their homes in Largs, with a community of adults with various support needs across 22 houses. Support ranges from essential daily activities to community access, tailored to individual needs.
Support is available 24/7, with various shifts, and training will be provided. Travel expenses are paid for those not local to Largs.
Let us introduce you to some of the people we support: some enjoy social activities like discos, bowling, swimming, and watching football, while others prefer relaxing at home. Support includes meal prep, medication administration, financial assistance, and housework. All residents have different capabilities, and staff training and support are provided.
