The Security Administrator’s key purpose is to assist with clerical and administrative tasks to support the Security function.
Key activities will include:
Issue security passes in line with required access levels and obtain approval(s) where required.
Administer the Access Control system.
Manage secure site visits and ensure the booking process is followed by all colleagues.
Record all requests for clearances and Access to secure areas on the database.
Notify visit requesters of confirmation of providing clearance data to visit sites.
Arrange security briefings and training in conjunction with the Security Controller
Provide administrative support for Security meetings as necessary.
Any other reasonable duties as required by management.
Person Specification:
Previous experience in administration or from a similar background.
Customer and quality focused
Organised and methodical approach to work
Ability to maintain accurate often complex records
Self-driven with a proven ability to deliver high quality work in a fast moving environment
Ability to work with and provide support to a diverse team.
