Learning Support Assistant (KS3 and KS4): Heswall, Wirral: CH60
As an LSA, you are the vital link between the teachers lesson plan and the students understanding. You will work primarily with students in Key Stage 3 (Years 7:9) as they transition to high school, and Key Stage 4 (Years 10:11) as they prepare for their GCSEs.

Duties:
* Support students in 1:1 or small group settings to help them access the curriculum.
* Adapt learning materials to suit the specific needs and abilities of individual pupils.
* Help manage classroom behaviour to create a calm and productive learning environment.
* Guide students through social interactions to build their confidence and emotional resilience.
* Assist teachers in tracking progress and identifying areas where a student needs extra care.
* Provide a safe and encouraging space for students with additional learning needs to thrive.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualifications: A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) is essential. A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable, though we value relevant experience just as much.
* Empathy and Patience: The ability to remain calm under pressure and see the world through a students eyes.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to coordinate with teachers and explain complex ideas simply.
