Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Youth Mentor to provide one-to-one support for a young person engaged in an Alternative Education Provision. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the young person's development and engagement in their education journey. The young person is unable to leave the house or attend school; he requires support in order to build up to going into a school setting in September 2026.
Role Details
* Session Schedule: One 2-hour session per week, held on Mondays.
* Location: Support to be provided in the WS7 area.
* Rate of Pay: GBP30 per hour.
Key Requirements
* Experience mentoring or supporting young people, ideally within an educational or alternative provision setting.
* Must live within commuting distance of the WS7 area.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is mandatory.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
