We are seeking an experienced Network Data Administrator to support offshore and onshore network infrastructure within the Oil & Gas industry. The role requires strong Project management skills with networking knowledge, coordination with multiple vendors, and the ability to understand and articulate technical scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead assigned projects and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
* Understand project scope, tasks, and deliverables clearly.
* Act as a technical liaison between internal teams and external vendors.
* Coordinate with multiple vendors for network-related implementations and troubleshooting.
* Analyze and articulate network issues, scenarios, and possible resolutions.
* Provide technical oversight without necessarily being hands-on at configuration level.
* Ensure compliance with offshore travel documentation and safety requirements.
* Support offshore network infrastructure, including seabed systems.
Technical Skills Required
* Strong understanding of Networking concepts and architecture.
* Hands-on or strong working knowledge of:
o Cisco networking technologies
o Meraki networking solutions
o Network firewalls
o RF (Radio Frequency) offshore communication systems
o Satellite communication technologies
o VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal)
o LEO satellite systems
o Starlink connectivity solutions
* Understanding of how offshore communication and networking technologies operate in remote environments.
