We are looking for a Kitchen Manager / Breakfast Chef at Belvilla Hotel in Crewe Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and maintaining efficient kitchen workflows. Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and support personnel
Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
Manage food preparation and cooking operations, ensuring adherence to recipes and safety protocols
Develop and implement menus in collaboration with the culinary team, considering customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
Train new staff members and provide ongoing development opportunities for existing team members
Ensure the kitchen operates smoothly during service hours, managing time effectively under pressure
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver excellent customer service experiences Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant environment
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Demonstrable team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP / Cosh procedures
Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and suppliers
Passionate about culinary arts with a keen eye for detail in food presentation and quality assurance We are looking for someone to start ASAP
