Whatwill you be doing?
Here is a listof the day to day responsibilities the successful candidate will be actioning:
Maintainingcolleague information on our HR Information Systems (HRIS - Workday) as well asanswering queries and resolving problems for colleagues and the wider business.
Issuingcontractual/recruitment documentation, ensuring the content is complete andaccurate, taking responsibility for and personally signing all correspondenceand advising line managers of their obligations in relation to the necessaryprocess and documentation.
Managing anappropriate workload ensuring that all work is dealt with in a timely andaccurate manner, escalating complex problems to the relevant HR Advisor/HRBusiness Partner/line manager as required.
Takingownership of any query and/or issues raised seeing it through to resolution andkeeping the relevant manager/HR colleague informed where appropriate.
Followingpublished internal and external procedures and work instructions wheresupplied, using appropriate judgement as to when to escalate issues to therelevant line manager/HR colleague.
Appropriatelychallenge any requests for transactional processes made which deviate fromstandard procedures, taking corrective action or escalating to a linemanager/HR Colleague as necessary.
Work withinand maintain HRSS KPIs and review processes to ensure activities are carriedout in the most efficient, cost-effective way.
Processcompleted HR forms as allocated, ensuring appropriate levels of authorisation(financial or otherwise) are obtained before any contractual changes areactioned.
Perform anynecessary internal checks or audits on data ensuring that all transactionalprocesses and the four-eye principle is complied with.
To contributeto the continual review and improvement of HR transactional processes ensuringthe delivery of a customer focused, added value service.
To maintainconfidentiality in all matters, adhering to General Data Protection Regulations(GDPR) at all times.
To support allareas of the business in relation to broader requirements relating totransactional HR activities, under the direction of the HR Shared ServicesManager.
What are we looking for?
Demonstrable experience within an administration function, preferably HR.
Experience of Microsoft Office products, Word, Excel to an intermediate standard.
Ideally experience of working with a HRIS or bespoke software.
Experience of working to strict deadlines and prioritising workloads.
Experience of maintaining attention to detail and accurate data entry required.
Experience of communicating with a broad range of internal and external customers, at all levels.
A CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge and understanding of UK employment law and GDPR regulations.
An ability to work with discretion and confidentiality.
