Job Description
My Four Wheels is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing driving schools in the UK, with 200 driving instructors currently on the road and hundreds more in training. Due to COVID-19, there is a record number of learner drivers needing instruction because of test centre backlogs. Over the past 12 months, our driving instructors' hourly rates have increased by an average of £3 due to high demand. Additionally, over 70% of our instructors have waiting lists, some as long as 6 months. Now is an excellent time to consider a career as a driving instructor.
Are you reliable, punctual, patient, and possess good customer service skills? Do you enjoy working with new people? If so, this could be the right career for you. People from various industries, including driving, finance, IT, health, and education, have recently become driving instructors with us. Full training is provided, conducted locally where possible. Our pass rates are well above the industry average, and we refund all training fees when you work with us.
Requirements to become a Driving Instructor
1. Hold a full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) for at least 2.5 years.
2. Have not been banned from driving in the last 4 years.
3. Have no more than 6 points on your licence.
