We require demonstrable experience implementing Cisco SD-WAN / Viptela solutions. We need solid understanding of WAN technologies, routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, VPNs, and MPLS environments. We value experience working in co-managed or MSP environments and collaborating with third-party providers. We require the ability to work autonomously, hit the ground running, and deliver with minimal supervision. We need strong troubleshooting capability across complex, multi-site network environments. We are seeking someone with the ability to work to HLD and LLD designs during implementation. Contract experience in fast-paced transformation programmes is highly beneficial. Responsibilities: We will rely on you to implement Cisco-based SD-WAN solutions across 50 sites, with additional rollout phases to follow. You will configure and deploy SD-WAN edge devices, circuits, and network infrastructure components. You will support migration from legacy WAN providers into a consolidated managed service environment. You will work to deliver against HLD and LLD designs during the implementation phase. You will operate within a co-managed model, taking ownership of configurations, changes, and fixes where required. You will perform advanced network troubleshooting across WAN and LAN environments. You will support cutovers, site migrations, and circuit activations in line with project timelines. You will work independently to deliver high-quality output in a fast-paced programme. Technologies: Cisco Support LAN MPLS Network More: We are supporting a major enterprise organisation undergoing a large-scale network transformation and consolidation programme. This is a 6-month initial contract for a fully remote Network Engineer role, with a view to extend, offering a day rate of £480 and falling inside IR35. You will join a predominantly Cisco-based environment and help drive the hands-on implementation of SD-WAN and network migration activities across new and existing sites.
