About Us
We are the provider in East Sussex for pupils who have been permanently excluded from school or are at high risk of permanent exclusion. We will be opening a new-build in September 2028, and a temporary building in September 2026. We are in an exciting period of development as we seek to shape our school in order to have an inspirational offer in place for the children in our care. You will be joining us at the very beginning of East Sussex Academy Hastings: you will have the opportunity to shape provision for our pupils, work with forward‑thinking staff and join a highly experienced Trust. Premises Manager – Job Overview
A Premises Manager to work in our brand‑new school. This is an exciting opportunity to work with fantastic staff. We are looking for a hardworking and committed caretaker who will deliver the very best for our children. The post is for 35 hours per week.
Job Details
Hours of work: 37 Hours
Working pattern: Full‑time, Term‑time only etc.
(As the position is term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

Interview date: Wednesday 6th May 2026
Start date: 1st August 2026
Qualifications and Experience
Successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. A strong commitment to safeguarding children and a willingness to undertake ongoing CPD in educational practice is expected.
