Role Overview The Business Development Manager will lead Indra’s growth across the UK automotive and leasing channels. This is a national, revenue-focused role responsible for securing strategic partnerships with dealer groups, OEM networks, and leasing companies to drive adoption of Indra’s full turnkey EV charging solutions. The role carries ownership of revenue, margin, and long-term commercial value within the automotive channel, positioning Indra as a trusted electrification partner to support dealership EV sales and fleet transition strategies. Key Responsibilities Channel Strategy & Growth Develop and execute a national business development strategy targeting: Automotive dealer groups (new and used EV retailers) OEM dealer networks Leasing and fleet management companies Secure national framework agreements and preferred supplier status within major groups. Identify and convert high-value multi-site opportunities. Revenue & Commercial Leadership Drive sales of Indra’s full turnkey offering: EVSE hardware Installation services Maintenance and aftercare packages Negotiate commercially robust agreements that protect margin and generate recurring revenue. Own delivery against defined revenue and gross profit targets. Partnership & Stakeholder Management Build relationships with dealer principals, group commercial directors, OEM stakeholders, and leasing decision-makers. Position Indra as a strategic partner enhancing dealership EV customer experience and sales performance. Identify co-branded, bundled, or white-label opportunities where appropriate. Execution & Market Insight Collaborate with technical, operations, and customer success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and delivery. Maintain strong pipeline management and accurate forecasting via CRM. Stay current on UK EV market trends, government incentives (including OZEV), and automotive electrification strategies. Represent Indra at key industry events and forums. Experience & Profile Proven B2B business development success within EVSE, automotive, fleet, energy, or related technology sectors. Experience selling into automotive dealer groups, OEM networks, or leasing/fleet organisations. Track record of securing multi-site or national commercial agreements. Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex buying groups. Commercially driven, self-starting, and comfortable operating nationally. Strong understanding of the UK EV market and installation ecosystem.
