MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a leading international packaging solutions business within the beauty and personal care sector, seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive new business growth across the UK market.
Operating within a high-performing commercial team, this role will focus on developing strategic relationships with contract manufacturers, emerging beauty brands and trend-driven businesses across cosmetics, skincare, haircare and personal care categories.
The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the organisation’s presence across the indie and challenger beauty landscape, identifying new opportunities while strengthening existing partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive new business development across the UK and selected Northern European markets including Ireland and Scandinavia within cosmetics, skincare, haircare and personal care segments.
* Develop and manage relationships with contract manufacturers, ensuring packaging solutions meet brand specifications and product development timelines.
* Identify and engage emerging and founder-led beauty brands to expand the company’s presence within the indie and challenger beauty sector.
* Collaborate with cross functional teams including marketing, operations and product development to deliver tailored packaging solutions for clients.
* Maintain a strong commercial pipeline and deliver against individual and company sales targets.
* Represent the business at industry events, trade shows and client meetings to strengthen market presence and industry networks.
* Support senior leadership with strategic account planning and market insight to inform wider commercial strategy.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven B2B sales experience within cosmetic, skincare, haircare or personal care packaging.
* Demonstrated success in new business development within the beauty or consumer goods supply chain.
* Experience working with contract manufacturers and understanding complex product development and supply processes.
* Strong awareness of emerging and challenger beauty brands within the UK and Northern European markets.
* Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to engage founders, brand leaders and procurement stakeholders.
* Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating agreements and managing the full sales cycle.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast paced and competitive industry environment.
