This role will be based in the nursing teams in Rachel and Robin House and will support the nursing teams in the Houses and in the CHAS at Home teams throughout Scotland. Working alongside others who also support learning and development of our nursing teams both in CHAS and out with will be key to your success in this role. About You To be successful in this role, you will have the following- A passion to make a difference and share your knowledge and expertise You will be a Registered Nurse / RN (Child) degree level. Master’s level education will be an advantage. Direct care experience of delivering palliative and end of life care Evidence of competence in the clinical skills relevant to palliative and end of life care delivery in CHAS. Experience of delivering training to others in a variety of setting Quality improvement methodology underpinning your practice. What you will do Work directly with our nursing teams to lead and positively influence the learning experience of clinical skills across CHAS. Work flexibly to meet the needs of the team members, including weekend, evenings and night duties if required. Hybrid working can be negotiated for this role. Provide leadership in creating a framework for clinical care skills and competencies across the nursing care teams. Work collaboratively and flexibly with others that also support the learning and development of our nursing teamsOur Quality and Care Assurance Team Our organisational wide Learning and Organisational Development team Our Advanced Nurse Practitioner team HEI and NHS partner organisations. Develop your skills as a clinical supervisor providing supervision to designated team groups. Measure improvement and outcomes to ensure robust evaluation of the post at end of year 2. Last year we had 800 admissions to our 2 Houses with 3204 bed nights. Our CHAS at Home teams undertook 1950 visits providing 6400 hours of care in the community and in hospital settings.
