The role is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of all Treasury activities, including debt, CCIRS, IRS, cash, foreign exchange, and related areas. Its primary objective is to enhance visibility and understanding of the financial impact of Treasury operations at a Group level, while centralising and improving the efficiency of technical treasury accounting processes.
Responsibilities
* Provide insight and reporting on Treasury impacts, including forecast vs. actual variance analysis
* Support robust treasury and hedge accounting processes, including cash flow hedge reserves
* Lead and provide guidance on treasury accounting across the Group, including implementing changes driven by regulatory developments
* Analyse monthly Treasury P&L (interest and FX exposures)
* Prepare interest budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
* Manage external reporting (including SEC filings such as 6-K and 20-F)
* Co-own Treasury SOX controls (RACM) with Treasury Manager
* Perform derivative valuations and hedge effectiveness testing
* Own hedge accounting policy and documentation (debt, FX, derivatives)
* Support transfer pricing and financial modelling (incl. WACC)
* Own rates model and manage external audit relationships
This role would suit a qualified accountant with working knowledge of SEC reporting and SOX control environment who has had exposure to IFRS and hedge accounting.
