If so, we are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join us, on a full time, permanent basis, to be based out of the Corby site Mon to Fri 8am to 4.30pm.

The salary on offer will be up to £55,000. We also offer 25 days holiday (including bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Youll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension and many other benefits.
What youll do on a typical day:
Take full operational accountability and responsibility for your site, effectively managing your time to ensure a safe and efficient service
As a true people manager, you will focus on ensuring that your colleagues receive the right level of support, coaching and development
Manage the relationship between XPO, our customers and our suppliers, constantly communicating across various stakeholders
Ensure that all teams are aligned, operating to XPO standard policies and procedures
Support the General Manager with adherence to all compliance and legal obligations with a huge emphasis on safety, deputising in their absence
Assist with executing the daily plan for all shipments and inbound receipts, with a keen eye on resource available at site and keep the customer updated
Working closely with the onsite customer on a day-to-day basis, youll support with period reviews and customer presentations
Provide leadership and guidance for your team to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication
What you need to succeed at XPO:
Ideally you will already be a Distribution/Operations Manager working in or having experience in a 3PL environment within the consumer goods sector, looking to prove yourself in a complex, large scale and diverse operation.
A People manager and leader with a collaborative approach to achieving results
Process driven
You will have a track record of providing solutions to problems and delivering results in a fast paced environment
