Project Manager, Property - £400pd
Client: Major central government organisation
Rate: £400 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Location: Exeter (Hybrid - initially 3 days onsite)
Duration: 12 months
The Role:
An Interim, hands-on Project Manager to lead the delivery of a medium-complexity property project within a high-profile public-sector environment. This is a delivery-focused role for someone who can confidently manage stakeholders, navigate regulatory frameworks, and drive outcomes.
1. Lead and coordinate multiple project workstreams from initiation through to delivery
2. Apply CDM regulations in a practical, real-world setting
3. Manage stakeholders at all levels, building strong engagement and alignment
4. Identify risks/issues early and drive effective solutions
5. Ensure projects deliver tangible business value and meet customer needs
6. Motivate and guide teams without direct line management responsibility
Requirements:
7. Strong, practical understanding of CDM regulations
8. Proven experience delivering property/construction-related projects
9. Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills
10. Ability to manage competing priorities and complex project demands
11. Strong leadership and communication skills
12. Track record of delivering results
13. PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ, or equivalent experience
14. Demonstrable delivery of medium-complexity projects using structured methodologies
