Are you ready to take the next step in your health and safety career? A well-regarded construction and property contractor is seeking a Regional Health and Safety Advisor to join their growing team. With long-term contracts with major organisations in the property sector, this role is crucial to their continued success.
Responsibilities for the Regional Health and Safety Advisor include:
1. Implementing health and safety policies and procedures on site, ensuring compliance and staying updated with key legislative changes.
2. Visiting sites and engaging with managers to clarify responsibilities and answer technical health and safety inquiries.
3. Conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations, continuously seeking areas for improvement in health and safety performance.
4. Engaging with clients and external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact.
The successful candidate will have:
1. Experience in a similar role, ideally within construction, property, or building maintenance.
2. A NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
3. Excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
4. Good communication skills to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders.
