Trade Finance Operations Analyst
Location: Cheshire (London 5 days a week)
Contract: 12 months FTC, with potential to become permanent
Salary: £45,000- £70,000 per annum depending on experience
Openings: 3+ roles available from junior to lead position
Join a leading investment bank in London as part of the expanding Trade Finance Operations team. This is a unique opportunity for early-career professionals (2–10 years’ experience) eager to develop a career in trade finance within a global environment.
Responsibilities
o Support end-to-end processing of trade finance transactions, including letters of credit and guarantees, and document verification.
o Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (UCP 600, ISBP) and internal policies.
o Liaise with clients, internal teams, and banking partners.
o Maintain accurate records, support reconciliations, and assist with risk and KYC checks.
o Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
Requirements
o Graduate degree (Finance, Business, or related field) - not essential but preferred.
o 1–3 years of experience in trade finance or banking operations (internships accepted).
o Investment/Wholesale Banking experience
o Keen attention to detail; strong communication and analytical skills.
o Team player, adaptable to a fast-paced banking environment.
