Senior/Principal Landscape BIM Modeller / Coordinator
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 DOE + strong benefits package
About the company:
An established, employee owned landscape architecture and urban design practice is looking to appoint a Senior/Principal Landscape BIM Modeller / Coordinator to play a key technical leadership role within their growing studio.
The practice works across a wide range of sectors including education, regeneration, healthcare and infrastructure, delivering projects throughout the UK. This role will sit at the centre of the studio's digital delivery, helping strengthen how BIM is implemented, supported and developed across project teams.
About the Role
You will work closely with the BIM Manager and Directors to support project teams and ensure strong technical delivery across the practice.
Responsibilities will include:
• Supporting project teams with BIM modelling and technical deliverables across all RIBA work stages
• Leading projects through technical design and delivery stages (RIBA 4–7) including preparation of model data and technical information
• Providing senior oversight of BIM models and drawing packages produced by project teams
• Supporting multidisciplinary coordination with architects, engineers and contractors
• Leading BIM training and providing technical support across the studio
• Mentoring colleagues and helping improve confidence in Revit and BIM workflows
• Helping embed consistent and practical digital standards across projects
• Supporting improvements to BIM templates, libraries and digital processes
• Assisting with BIM input on bids and framework submissions where required
This role is not purely managerial. You will remain actively involved in projects while also helping shape BIM capability across the practice.
About You
You will be an experienced BIM professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to support and guide others.
Essential experience:
• Significant experience in a senior BIM or technical role within the built environment
• Strong Revit capability and experience producing coordinated technical information
• Experience supporting or training others in BIM workflows
• Excellent understanding of construction detailing and technical delivery
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach
Desirable experience:
• Experience working on landscape architecture, public realm or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 BIM standards
• Experience developing BIM standards or digital guidance
Relevant professional qualifications could include:
• Technical Member of the Landscape Institute (TMLI)
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (MCIAT)
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related discipline
• Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit
