Job Description
As a Stockroom Assistant, you’ll work behind the scenes to ensure smooth stock movement and replenishment, keeping the shop floor fully stocked and supporting a great customer experience. This role is vital to maintaining operational excellence, supporting store teams, and ensuring every product is in the right place at the right time.
Stock & Replenishment
8. Support the receipt, unpacking, and accurate processing of deliveries
9. Replenish the shop floor promptly and efficiently to maintain availability
10. Monitor stock levels and support stock counts and inventory control
Stockroom Standards & Organisation
11. Organise and maintain the stockroom in line with company standards
12. Ensure products are stored safely and accessibly
Operational & Team Support
13. Support store colleagues by ensuring product availability
14. Adhere to all health & safety procedures within the stockroom and back of house
15. Be flexible to support the shop floor during busy trading periods when required
Qualifications
16. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
17. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
18. Reliable, committed, and takes pride in their work
19. A team player with good communication skills
20. Flexible with working hours, including weekends and peak retail periods
21. Previous stockroom, retail, or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
