As we continue to expand and grow, we are seeking a Sales Estimator to work within our dedicated Estimating team. You will play a pivotal role within the company, being the first point of contact for our valued customers, converting quotes into orders. As an Estimator, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, involved in the sales process, cost estimation, material selection, and project management.

About the role
* Respond to all enquiries from customers and engage directly
* Liaise with new and existing clients to identify their specific order requirements
* Understand customer information, drawings, and technical details
* Prepare detailed and competitive quotations and proposals
* Ensure swift follow-up of quotes and negotiate to secure orders
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers as required
* Monitor and communicate delivery times and provide updates on progress
* Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and communications for future reference
* Document key points and action items
* Build, develop, and maintain excellent relationships with customers, upholding high standards of service
About you
* Sales experience in a similar engineering or manufacturing environment
* Highly literate and numerate, commercially astute
* Confidence to deal directly with decision-makers and customers
* Proficient in CRM, CAD software, and other sales tools
* A flexible approach to adapt to changing requirements
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
* Ability to focus on quality and emphasize its importance
* Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
