About this Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages who is passionate about teaching and learning and is dedicated to achieving excellence for all students. Candidates will play a key role in teaching MFL preferably Spanish up to KS5 and French up to KS3. This role would be suitable for an Early Careers Teacher.
Candidates should enjoy working as part of a team, be able to work under pressure, be attentive to detail and have excellent communication skills. You should be committed to inclusion and the well-being of every child and be an outstanding role model in your own practice.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

11. Collaboratively planning the MFL curriculum;
12. Ensuring the National Curriculum is followed;
13. Delivering the MFL curriculum plans, including setting homework and implementing the assessment procedures;
14. Marking work, assessing, recording, tracking and reporting student progress, using data to monitor the impact of the curriculum;
15. Providing a stimulating learning environment;
16. Having due regard for maintaining health and safety and security in the areas s/he uses;
17. Being a member of a pastoral team and, as required, a form tutor, carrying out the associated responsibilities.
18. To assist with the effective operation of subject and year teams both individually and with others by:
19. Contributing to team, monitoring, evaluation and review (MER) to continuously improve;
20. Being a member of a School Improvement Group (SIG);
21. Taking part in other professional development activities;
22. Attending meetings
Qualifications:
23. Good Honours degree in relevant subject
24. QTS
Experience:
25. Experience of Excellent teaching at KS3, KS4 across the ability range
26. Evidence of being able to personalise learning
27. Use of data to monitor and raise achievement
28. Evidence of consistent use of Assessment for Learning (AFL) techniques
29. Secondary teaching experience with up to date knowledge of subject area syllabus requirements and appropriate teaching techniques
