Collaborative Communities Team Manager VCSE Mental Health Alliance Service 12-month fixed-term contract (with view to extend) Location: Hybrid - with travel across the North East (Northumberland focus) Due to the nature of this role, you must hold a full UK driving license and have access to a car. About the role Everyturn Mental Health is looking for an experienced and passionate Collaborative Communities Team Manager to join our VCSE Mental Health Alliance Service. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of a truly collaborative, community-led approach to mental health support, working across statutory and voluntary sectors to reduce inequalities and promote recovery and resilience. You will manage a small team and play a key role in building partnerships, developing community wellbeing spaces, and ensuring services are shaped by the people and communities they support. This role is not eligible for sponsorship as is does not meet the requirements as set out by the UK Visa and Immigration Service What you’ll do Build strong partnerships across NHS services, VCSE organisations, and Local Authority teams Lead the development and delivery of community wellbeing spaces across Northumberland Facilitate multi-agency collaboration to create integrated, accessible support (“no wrong door”) Champion co-production, ensuring services reflect the needs of service users, carers, and communities Support outreach and engagement initiatives, including partnership working with mobile services Monitor service impact, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement Develop consistent, safe operating procedures across services Lead on engagement campaigns to raise awareness and increase access Line manage and support a small team, fostering a positive and inclusive culture What we’re looking for Significant experience in community development, engagement, or similar roles Strong background in partnership working across VCSE, NHS, or Local Authority settings Experience managing staff and leading teams Confidence in monitoring, evaluation, and using data to inform decisions Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills Good knowledge of Northumberland communities and the VCSE landscape Ability to manage a varied and fast-paced workload A values-driven approach, with a passion for empowering communities and tackling inequalities What We Offer In Return We are proud to have been recognised and certified as a Great Place to Work, which speaks volumes on how much we value our staff members.
