This multinational Law Firm is currently recruiting for a Client Contracts Lawyer to join its busy Risk Management team based in Glasgow or Edinburgh. The role will involve handling a range of commercial contracts, compliance, and commercial risk matters. Tasks will include:
1. Review various client-facing commercial contracts and provide risk-sensitive advice tailored to local regulatory, cultural, and practice requirements, which can include client bids, RfPs, and panel agreements.
2. Collaborate with partners and other lawyers to negotiate client terms, including direct negotiations with clients.
3. Work with and coordinate other teams within the business to deliver timely and practical advice on a range of contractual issues.
4. Assist in administering an effective global compliance policy to identify and manage client contract risk.
The team is keen to hear from candidates with upwards of 2+ years’ PQE, however, other levels will be considered for those who can demonstrate valuable commercial contracts and/or risk and compliance experience. Interested candidates should have excellent knowledge and experience of commercial contracts; previous experience of risk and compliance would be beneficial but is not essential.
