Are you an experienced finance professional who loves a good checklist and can hit the ground running? VisionAid is looking for a confident Finance and Operations Coordinator to join our friendly, fast-paced team.
The well-established family-owned company supplies and supports electronic reading aids and software that help visually impaired, blind and dyslexic people. The products are truly life-changing and help to restore independence, enable employment and maximise education potential.
This role will suit an enthusiastic, driven person with great finance skills who is organised, proactive and ready to make a real impact.
Although full training will be given, the successful candidate will be required to have previous finance, purchasing, and payroll experience.
About the Role:
You’ll manage a wide range of essential finance and operations tasks, including:
* Daily bank account monitoring and reconciliations
* Processing supplier invoices (A/P) and payments across multiple companies
* Handling credit card reconciliations and reporting
* Running monthly payroll and pensions
* Managing stock purchasing, pricing updates, and supplier coordination
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns, quarterly royalty reports and supporting year-end accounts
* Chasing customer invoices and assisting with debt management
* Providing ad-hoc support for operational and administrative projects
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in finance administration and payroll — you know your way around numbers and deadlines
* Confident with banking platforms, credit control, and supplier payments
* Organised, detail-focused, and able to prioritise tasks independently
* Comfortable using finance systems like SAP Business One, QuickBooks, or similar (training on SAP can be given)
* Positive, proactive, and happy to get stuck into operational support when needed

Pay: £28,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 25 – 37.5 per week
