Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organised environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and a positive attitude are essential. Previous experience in food service is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
Duties
* Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately
* Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
* Ensure the presentation of food items is appealing and consistent
* Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
* Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service operations
* Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately
* Follow hygiene and safety procedures at all times
* Assist with opening and closing duties as required
Skills
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and cleanliness standards are met
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions
* Previous experience in food service or hospitality is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
