Job Description
1. Provide leadership and direction on light industrial construction projects
2. Monitor construction through administrative direction of on-site and corporate staff to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget
3. Work with the Project team to develop a work plan, establish priorities and assign tasks
4. Coordinate the preparation of the schedule and long term planning
5. Implement, monitor, update and communicate the progress schedule and its periodic revisions
6. Manage financial aspects of contracts: review and approve budgets, cost reports, rental equipment and expenses
7. Perform the final review of internal items such as Cost Analysis, Monthly Billing, Master Cost Breakdown and Monthly Reports
8. Manage subcontractor schedules, quality of work, coordination with other trades and payments
9. Create and maintain a safe/secure job site environment
10. Review and approve drawings and samples prior to submission
11. Train and develop the Project team and schedule project resources

The Successful Applicant
12. 9+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor
13. Light industrial and commercial construction background is required
14. Ground up experience is required
15. Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field is required
16. The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
17. Strong track record with client relationships
18. Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical
19. Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
20. Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
