Job Title: Governance & Assurance Engineer

Salary: £47,683 - 52,426
What you'll be doing:
1. D1 Management - ensure compliance with Support Solution Declaration of Conformance (SSDoC), highlighting shortfalls as required
2. Develop engineering statements and technical documentation to demonstrate conformance of our products
3. Assist the wider Technical Information Service (TIS) team with collation of joint engineering statements for customer specific applications
4. Liaise with key stakeholders in aircraft development to assist in the refinement of TIS Aircrew Technical Publications outputs in support of key programmes
5. Utilise Teamcenter for document control, version management and configuration management of artefacts as directed. Enabling traceability through our product lifecycle
6. Assist with Support Impact Assessment (SIA) and the production of Data Module Requirements List (DMRLs), liaising with wider TIS teams to enable a one team approach
7. Champion continuous improvement and best practice initiatives within the team
8. Carry out all United States Export Control (USEC) activities relating to the role
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
9. HNC / HND in a STEM/ engineering subject or suitable equivalent experience
10. Understanding of Integrated Logistics Support
11. Effective communication and analytical skills
12. Good organisation skills to control concurrent activities for multiple customers
13. Proficient in the use of IT systems and standard office-style applications
14. An excellent working knowledge of engineering principles and the product lifecycle
Desirable:
15. Have a knowledge of aircrew technical publications working practices
16. Experience of collaboration and task management applications such as Confluence and Jira and Experience of Teamcenter PLM

The Aircrew Technical Publications Team:
Our team delivers approved technical data that empowers air forces to operate and maintain their aircraft, from cockpit-ready publications to interactive digital resources for ground crews.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the integrity of our deliverables-performing conformance checks, producing Engineering Statements and Declarations, and collaborating with a diverse, multi-level stakeholder base. You'll be a key player in maintaining configuration control while developing your expertise, working with European partners, and expanding your professional network.
