The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Test Equipment Design Engineer to join a Production Design Support (PDS) team and work on a broad range of engineering activities, supporting production test equipment and playing a key role in linking design with manufacturing.
You will be working in a hands-on engineering environment, acting as the interface between design teams and manufacturing operations, and providing technical support that ensures production efficiency and quality. This role is both technically rewarding and offers opportunities for personal development and growth.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the design of products and test equipment, with direct input into resolving production challenges and improving processes.
What we’re looking for:
* Ideally degree-qualified (or with equivalent industry experience) in a relevant engineering discipline
* Strong background in product/system design or support through the manufacturing lifecycle
* Excellent communication, influencing, and documentation skills
* Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams with a collaborative mindset
* Confident working independently to deliver work packages, manage priorities, and engage with stakeholders
* Ability to investigate design-related issues and apply robust corrective actions
* Proven experience across the product lifecycle, from concept through to production
* Willingness to support and mentor less experienced engineers or technicians
Desirable technical experience:
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
* RF and Antenna Design
* Electrical Architecture
* Design for Safety and Integrity
* RF Test and Measurement Principles
