Supplier Technical Manager
Are you an experienced technical manager with vast internal and external auditing experience within the food industry?
Do you have a proven track record of maintaining the highest of food regulatory standards?
Are you experienced in ensuring your suppliers meet all regulations required within retail and BRC?
MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading food business on the search for a Supplier Technical Manager. This is a perm role based in North Lincolnshire.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the supplier technical operations of the company, including managing quality and food safety.
* Ensuring food safety management systems, such as HACCP, IFS, FSSC and BRC are being adhered to.
* Manage customer and supplier technical audits and relationships.
* Manage the resolution of technical and quality issues, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented effectively.
* Deliver key solutions for the Quality agenda.
* Lead a high performing technical team.
What We're Looking For:
* BSc in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a technical or regulatory management role within the food and drinks industry for 8+ years.
* Knowledge of HACCP, FDA, IFS, BRC, and other food safety management systems including customer (retailer) standards.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Experience within chilled food production and can relate to the planned operational processes.
* Short shelf-life experience.
Salary – Up to £60k + benefits.
