Maintenance Engineer – Electrical
Location: Elgin – Mobile
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Robertson Facilities Management is the UK’s largest family‑owned construction, infrastructure and support services business. As a Maintenance Engineer – Electrical you’ll be part of a team delivering excellent service, supporting our clients and contributing to a sustainable future.
What you’ll do
* Service and repair of lighting and power distribution systems.
* Reactive repairs to all types of lighting systems and power distribution systems.
* Service and repair of motors and pumps, fan coil units and associated systems.
* Competent use of BMS control systems.
* Undertake maintenance duties in a manner that supports the client’s objectives and respects residents’ dignity and privacy.
* Operate with safe working practices, complying with health and safety regulations, COSHH, infection control and waste disposal.
* Maintain asset histories, maintenance records and help‑desk reports, informing administrators or tradespeople of any required follow‑up.
* Take part in an on‑call rota to provide coverage to the facilities.
* Report all accidents and incidents as appropriate.
* Provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in delivering contracted services.
About you
* Qualified Electrician with experience in installation and maintenance work.
* Level 3 NVQ or Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
* AM2 Practical Skills Assessment.
* City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing.
* Valid UK driving licence.
The successful candidate will require a PVG/Disclosure Check before starting.
