About the Role
Our clients are seeking an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Repairs Planners / Schedulers to join their Housing Repairs team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that responsive repairs, maintenance works, and appointments are efficiently scheduled, enabling client's operatives to deliver excellent service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and coordinate day-to-day repairs and maintenance appointments for operatives and contractors
* Manage diaries, allocate workloads, and ensure operatives’ time is used effectively
* Respond to repair requests from tenants, staff, and partners via phone, email, and internal systems
* Prioritise urgent and emergency works in line with service standards
* Monitor progress of repairs and update residents on job status
* Work closely with supervisors, surveyors, and customer service teams to resolve issues quickly
* Ensure data accuracy within housing management and scheduling systems
* Provide excellent customer service, maintaining professional and compassionate communication
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience in scheduling, planning, coordination, or a fast-paced administrative environment
* Communicates clearly and confidently via phone and email
* Can multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Has strong IT skills and can quickly learn new systems
* Works collaboratively and demonstrates a commitment to high-quality customer service
* Understands housing repairs or property maintenance (desirable)
