Young Persons Adviser

Job Code: 9065
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £31,537 – £33,699 per annum
Grade: G
Location: Kings Lynn, West Norfolk & Breckland

Part of the Post 16 EET Service, this role offers an exciting opportunity to support NEET young people aged 16‑18 across Kings Lynn and West Norfolk. The successful candidate will engage with young people using virtual methods and in‑person visits to provide Careers Information and Advice and help them to realise their potential through education, employment or training.


Responsibilities

* Engage with NEET young people aged 16‑18 using virtual and in‑person methods.
* Provide Careers Information and Advice to support their transition into education, employment or training.
* Maintain effective communication with a range of professionals and collaborate to achieve outcomes for young people.
* Use strong organisational skills to work within timescales and deliver measurable outcomes.
* Exercise excellent IT and digital skills to support remote working.

Norfolk County Council operates a hybrid working model. Applicants should have good broadband connectivity and be based at Priory House, Kings Lynn, whilst working remotely as required.
