As a supply teacher, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting classroom learning, maintaining continuity, and creating a positive and engaging environment for students. Key Responsibilities:
Engage & Inspire: Deliver dynamic, tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of your students.
Promote Positive Behaviour: Use effective classroom management strategies to maintain a focused and respectful learning atmosphere.
Inclusive Learning: Adapt teaching methods to support all learning styles and create an inclusive classroom environment.
Individualised Support: Monitor progress, providing guidance and feedback to help students reach their full potential.
Organised Classroom Management: Efficiently manage classroom resources to maximise learning and engagement.
Clear Communication: Maintain open communication with students, teachers, and school staff.
Adaptability: Be flexible to meet the unique needs of different schools and classes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (essential)
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) preferred but not essential
Experience working with primary-aged children
Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
Flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced school setting
Valid DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to work on short notice and travel across Watford
