About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team at Apsley One for a 6-month contract. This role is essential in covering a current vacancy and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' lives.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
Build effective relationships with individuals, communities, and professionals to improve outcomes.
Conduct and contribute to assessments using appropriate frameworks, ensuring support plans are cost-effective and person-centred.
Organise resources and manage your workload efficiently to meet service demands.
Participate in case planning and reviews, applying technical expertise and research.
Manage your own caseload autonomously, prioritising tasks as needed.
Provide feedback to support continuous service improvement.
Person Specification
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC registration.
Practice aligned with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists' standards and HCPC proficiency guidelines.
Knowledge of key legislation including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Experience working with partners and external agencies.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.What happens now?
