This is a brilliant opportunity for a Geography Teacher who wants to make physical and human geography relevant and exciting. Whether you're an experienced Geography Teacher or an ECT full of fresh ideas, this school is keen to hear from you.
The Geography Teacher will teach across KS3 and KS4, with the chance to teach A-Level in future. The Geography Teacher will help develop resources that make global issues accessible and engaging. The Geography Teacher will also lead trips and outdoor learning sessions to help students connect with their environment. You’ll join a team that values current events, sustainability and student voice.
Geography Teacher – Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the geography curriculum
* Use case studies and fieldwork to deepen understanding
* Promote enquiry, discussion and debate in the classroom
* Track and support pupil progress to raise achievement
Person Specification:
* QTS and a degree in Geography or a related subject
* Confident teaching physical and human geography
* Creative, organised and committed to inclusive teaching
