Job Description
Assist teachers in promoting achievement and raising the standards of pupil attainment. Provide general support related to the needs of the class and individual care, health, wellbeing, and safety to ensure a secure environment.
Flexibility in school location within the cluster is required, based on individual circumstances. The role involves working with pupils from P1 to S6.
The post holder must demonstrate a commitment to delivering quality service through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organization.
PSA posts are appointed on a cluster basis, and candidates may be deployed to any school within the Stonehaven Cluster. The current split for this role is between Mackie Academy and Mill O'Forest School.

Minimum Requirements
This role requires at least one reference, preferably from your current or most recent employer.
The position involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. The offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
