* Support with daily routines (mealtimes, activities, household responsibilities)
* Work rota shifts,2 including sleep-ins and weekends
* Ensure safeguarding and care plans are consistently followed
* Contribute to a stable, family-style environment
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
* Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification (preferred; training support available)
* Commitment to 29+ hours per week no very part-time contracts
* Flexibility to work sleep-ins and rota shifts (including weekends)
* Resilience, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build stable relationships
* Age 21+ preferred; exceptional 18–19 year olds considered
Pay & Benefits
* Hourly rate: £12.30 – £12.50 (depending on experience)
* Annual salary range: £25,584 – £33,150 (based on 40–51 hours per week)
* Sleep-ins:
*
o £45 when a waking night worker is present
* £66.75 when no waking night worker is present
* Waking hours: paid at standard hourly rate
* Meals provided on shift (staff eat with the children)
* Training support to achieve Level 3 Residential Childcare if not already held
Travel & Accommodation Support
* Roles available within a 90-minute travel radius of Hampshire homes
* Transport and accommodation are provided where required to make roles viable
* Meals provided on shift (with children); off-shift meals self-catered
This is your chance to join a children's service that feels like a family, with clear progression from temp-to-perm and full support to achieve your Level 3 qualification if needed.
