About the Department
The Data Insights Team within the Data & Analytics department is dedicated to standardising reporting processes establishing best practices and contributing to the development of a Centre of Excellence that enables scalable high-quality analytics across the organization.
About the Role
Were looking for a data-driven and collaborative individual to join our team as a Data Analyst. This role is ideal for someone passionate about turning data into actionable insights with a strong foundation in Power BI SQL and stakeholder engagement. Youll play a key role in delivering high-quality analytics that support strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver analytical projects aligned with business priorities using Power BI SQL and DAX to generate actionable insights.
* Build and maintain dashboards and data models translating findings into clear narratives and visualisations.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements shape technical solutions and communicate outcomes effectively.
* Ensure outputs meet data governance standards promote responsible data use and support documentation of data assets.
* Contribute to a high-performing team by sharing knowledge adopting best practices in coding and data storytelling and exploring emerging technologies like AI.
About the Candidate
* Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards and data models.
* Proficiency in DAX SQL and/or Python for solving business problems.
* Solid understanding of data architecture and modelling principles.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and cloud-based data platforms (desirable).
* Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
