HR Adviser
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £36,000 - £38,500 DOE
We're working with a well established legal practice in Cheltenham looking for an HR Adviser to support managers, guide people decisions, and help shape a positive, inclusive workplace.
This well regarded Cheltenham practice is looking for an HR Adviser who believes that how you do things matters just as much as what you do.
You'll be joining at an exciting time of growth and development, working closely with senior leaders to shape a positive, fair and inclusive workplace where people can genuinely thrive.
The Role
This is a true generalist HR Adviser role with plenty of variety and real influence across the business.
You'll be:
· Providing first-line HR advice to managers and employees across a range of people matters
· Coaching and guiding managers to ensure fair, consistent and legally compliant decision-making
· Supporting end-to-end recruitment activity, from drafting adverts to shortlisting and selection
· Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
· Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
· Supporting payroll and benefits administration
· Delivering training and guidance to managers and teams
· Keeping ahead of employment law updates and HR best practice
What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with HR professionals who combine technical knowledge with strong emotional intelligence.
You'll likely bring:
· CIPD Level 5 or 7 (or working towards)
· HR advisory experience within a legal practice or professional services environment
· Confidence building credible relationships at all levels
· A calm, fair and thoughtful approach to complex situations
· Strong judgement, discretion and integrity
· A genuine passion for people and creating a positive workplace culture
