Your Role
As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) and Civil works. You will drive projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless system integration and functionality. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to improve infrastructure and resource management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead mechanical design and system integration for water and wastewater treatment projects.
2. Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, detailed design, and tender pricing.
3. Collaborate with civil, process, electrical, ICA, and H&S teams for cross-disciplinary integration.
4. Manage procurement of mechanical equipment and supervise subcontractors to meet project standards.
5. Monitor project sites to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance.
6. Engage with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and support throughout projects.
7. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
8. Prepare project plans, reports, and updates for stakeholders.
9. Promote continuous improvement through feedback and lessons learned.
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Chartered Engineer status is a plus.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in water and wastewater industry with project management skills.
* Experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
* Proven ability in multidisciplinary collaboration and technical guidance.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project preferred.
* Valid Full UK Driving License.
