A Snapshot of Your Day
You will perform a variety of administrative and coordination tasks to support the Business Leadership team of Grid Technology Sales GB&IE, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Typical responsibilities include:
1. Organising complex departmental travel arrangements (UK & overseas)
2. Diary and email managementfor the leadership team
3. Arranging meetings and conferences, including venue finding, equipment hire, staging, lighting and catering
4. Preparing presentation materials
5. Scheduling appointmentsand planning meetings
6. Supporting customer events and corporate entertainment
7. Coordinating business activitiesacross the department
8. SharePoint managementand maintenance of the business area intranet site
9. Maintaining and setting up electronic and manual filing structures
10. Onboarding coordinationand induction of new starters
11. Ordering stationery, office and IT equipmentfor the business area
12. Supporting governance administrationand maintaining local governance guidelines
13. Managing expenses and consumables purchasesas agreed with the Business Manager
In addition to the above functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required to support the objectives of the business.
How You'll Make an Impact
In this role you will help ensure the effective coordination and administration of leadership activitiesacross the Grid Technology Sales GB&IE business area.

16. Maintaining accurate governance documentation and internal systems

21. Proven experience in a Business Administration role
22. Excellent knowledge and application of Microsoft Office applications, especially:
Word
Excel
PowerPoint
23. Excellent communication and organisational skills
24. Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
25. Ability to adapt to different working and management styles
26. Strong forward planning ability and attention to detail
Desirable
27. Experience supporting senior leadership teams
28. Experience coordinating business events, meetings or governance activities
29. Familiarity with SharePoint or intranet site management
