Forensic Custody Nurse or Paramedic - PART TIME

Responsibilities
* Deliver healthcare to detainees in custody suites in collaboration with the Police, with round‑the‑clock coverage in line with the schedule agreed with the client.
* Be flexible to work not only in your base custody suite but across an assigned region in the Police Custody Suites and Force area.
* As a certified nurse or paramedic, pursue a career within the criminal justice system, with training provided for forensic and broader clinical skills.
* Support a team rota pattern and fixed shift schedules as described in the role details (06:45 to 19:00 for day shifts; 18:45 to 07:00 for nights; 2-day shifts on, 8 days, 2 nights, 4 days off; rolling rota available 2 years in advance).
Requirements
* RN, RGN or (RMN with dual registration): 2 years post qualification – Band 5 minimum
* Paramedic: 2 years post qualification
* Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a patient‑facing role within a relevant field (General Practice, A&E, Emergency Medicine, acute medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare or Ambulance Service)
* Driving Licence (required)
* Right to work in the UK (UK-born or ILR for 3 years + no gaps out of the country of more than 3 months)
* Police Vetting will be required
* All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
