**Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and be comfortable with heavy lifting. A commercial driving licence is advantageous for this position.
**Duties**
- Perform welding tasks on various materials to ensure structural integrity and safety.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for construction and repair projects.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment as needed.
- Engage in carpentry work, including framing, installation of fixtures, and finishing touches.
- Execute roofing tasks safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct masonry work such as bricklaying or stonework for construction projects.
- Assist with heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience in welding, carpentry, masonry, or related trades is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the workday.
- A valid commercial driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
