As a Software Engineer II in the Capital Team, you will develop, enhance, and maintain essential software applications using Python. Job Responsibilities
* Execute standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
* Write secure, high-quality code using at least one programming language (Python)
* Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot with consideration for system impacts
* Apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle tools to enhance automation
* Break down and solve technical problems of basic complexity
* Gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from diverse data sets to support secure, stable application development
* Learn and apply system processes and methodologies for secure, stable code and systems
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
* Proficient in object‑oriented programming, preferably Python
* Hands‑on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
* Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in large environments using modern programming and database querying languages
* Ability to code in one or more programming languages
* Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle
* Exposure to agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resilience, and security
* Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
* Experience with Databricks or AWS S3
* Familiarity with Duck DB, PyArrow, or Ibis
* Exposure to cloud technologies or distributed computing
