This is a key role in the Primary Care Mental Health Services – West. The role will aid in the development of and reporting of all PCMHS performance targets from team level to senior managers and will provide support to the teams in meeting these targets. Your focus will be on highly skilled use of Excel. SQL, Python and Power BI are not required (BI may be used in the future). Highly expert use of Excel will be essential.
Responsibilities
* Analyse, develop, interpret and present performance information using Excel to a high standard and support services in promoting the use and understanding of information provided.
* Support operational teams with the delivery of performance targets.
* Monitor performance against service targets and give appropriate feedback using Excel and PowerPoint presentations.
* Support the management and achievement of waiting time targets across PCMHS and within the Trust.
* Assist with the development and delivery of training for operational teams around the achievement of KPI targets.
* Support the development and maintenance of the performance management framework, involving high‑level skills in Excel and other information systems as necessary.
* Provide high‑level analysis of data and interpretation of trends, reflecting this graphically where possible.
* Support the development of systems, improve and adapt existing reports, and design reports for use by PCMHS staff.
* Implement new performance management systems and communicate with staff, working closely with the IM& T team in performance report writing.
Qualifications
* Degree level qualification or equivalent.
* Evidence of continuing professional development or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a large or complex organisation that required working independently without day‑to‑day direction.
* Understanding of performance principles and processes and ability to translate into working practices.
* Understanding of data sources and performance information for both the Trust and within the wider NHS and social care agenda.
* Experience of analysis and interpretation of complex information from different sources.

* Ability to communicate verbally and written to senior managers and work effectively in partnership with them.
* Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise format.
* Proven report writing skills.
* Proven presentation skills.

* Ability to analyse and interpret complex information and reflect this graphically.
* Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Excellent eye for detail and ability to proofread complex data within documents.
* Knowledge of Paris, PC‑MIS and SystmOne.
