Lending Operations Assistant / Associate
Caravel are working with a well-capitalised real estate debt fund that has built a strong track record providing financing across bridging, refurbishment and development loans, with a growing platform also moving into investment and buy-to-let products. Their Lending Operations team is expanding, and they’re now looking for a Lending Operations Assistant to support the continued growth of their loan book.
The Role
You’ll be joining the Lending Operations team, working across the full loan lifecycle and supporting the smooth execution of property finance transactions. The role suits someone with around 2+ years’ experience in servicing or lending operations within property finance, ideally with exposure to bridging or development finance.

Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting funding processes, including forecasting and capital calls
* Managing payments, call-backs and approvals across multiple accounts
* Ensuring loan documentation, statements and systems are accurate and complete
* Overseeing loan servicing, monitoring and compliance requirements
* Coordinating with solicitors, borrowers and deal teams on redemptions and sales
* Producing accurate reporting and management information
* Contributing to ad-hoc projects and continuous process improvements
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in property finance operations (2+ years), ideally bridging or development
* Highly detail-oriented with strong numerical skills
* Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and stakeholders
* A team player with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
* Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Office
